Despite acting alone and outside standing orders, Mercer’s actions directly contributed to the interception and destruction of a hijacked UEE Navy Polaris, safeguarding civilian forces and preserving numerous lives. His conduct exemplified decisive action in defense of UEE assets under extraordinary circumstances.

OPERATION VEILSWEEP-02 - [POSTPONED DUE TO POLARIS HIJACK]

Was supposed to be a routine patrol however after a call about a UEE Navy Ship being attacked by a hijacked capital ship, Jack, being the only service member available went out solo to deal with the threat. 

RESULTS: 1x Captured UEE Polaris destroyed 10+ Hostile craft neutralized by Castra PDS UEE Navy vessel destroyed by hostile action (non-173rd) No 173rd casualties or damage Mission considered successful in terms of response, damage mitigation, and threat elimination
